�The chokeberry is a strawberry fruit-bearing crop, which is not very demanding on soil and climate conditions. It is a shrub that reaches 2-3meters high and has the ability to resists very low temperatures (-27, -30 degrees), what allows to be cultivated in areas with high altitude (1000 � 1200 meters). The optimum scheme for planting the chokeberries is about 3m between the rows and 2 � 2.50m between the plants in a raw.

�The chokeberry leaves resemble the leaves of the cherry.� The colors of the chokeberries have about 15 to 20 condensed clusters. Its fruits usually ripen in August; they are relatively small, olive-black and sleek with gray bloom.

�The chokeberry fruits are rich in vitamins, salts and trace elements, what makes them extremely useful for treating atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, diabetes, in violation of the nervous system and others.
